CMHA Kootenays supportive housing initiative McBride Manor, located in Trail, is a 9-bed residential facility for persons with disabilities. Residents at McBride are recipients of a support servive model. Some meals and housekeeping are provided however a key component of McBride is the continuation of life skills training and successful community integration. Semi-independent living within a community setting is the next step with indepentent living being the primary goal.

McBeth Manor

McBeth, CMHA-K independent living establishment. This home consists of 4 single bedrooms, it is a stand alone house of individuals that are able to live independently. The graduates from McBride Manor semi-independent living program are the recipients of this program. Dinner meals are provided however the housekeeping and some yard care is the responsibility of the tenants. There is no supervision only a once a week check in from support staff of CMHA-K.
