About Achieve

Employment Programs

Achieve
Achieve is an Employment Program for People with Disabilities funded by the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance and delivered by CMHA Kootenays in partnership with THEO-BC. Achieve is designed to assist Persons with Disabilities to achieve their economic and social potential to the fullest extent possible. This can be achieved through pursuing employment goals, building employability skills, increasing self-reliance and or strengthening community participation.

Bits n Bites Catering
This food service and catering employment program is an entrepreneurial business that provides catering to various agencies and businesses throughout Cranbrook.

Ca'MocHA Kiosk
The Ca'MocHA Coffee Kiosk is located in the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail.  The purpose of this micro-enterprise is to generate a financial return on the association's investment, through the sale of kiosk products. Ten percent of the staff's tips are donated to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Health Foundation to assist with various fund raisers throughout the year.

JobWave
JobWave is a WCG International partnership program focusing on helping participants to achieve sustainable employment that will lead to independence and or increasing the participants employability skills and community participation.

Community Assistance Program
The Community Assistance Program is designed to improve the quatlity of life and increase community participation for multi-barriered clients.

Abilities 2 Business
Abilities 2 Business is a SENI partnership program to assist persons with disabilities in becoming self-employed.
